Biking the NCR/Heritage Rail Trail

This weekend all of our guests were here to ride bikes on the rail trail. Did you know that it starts in Ashland, MD as the NCR Trail, runs north for 20 miles to the PA line, at which point it becomes the Heritage Rail Trail...? Then it continues another 23 miles into PA (goes right past the Jackson House Bed and Breakfast) all the way into the city of York, PA. Along the way there are rivers, woods, farms, little towns, Hanover Junction (where Lincoln stopped on his way to Gettysburg!), and the Howard Tunnel. And it's a rail trail...so it's pretty flat and easy for anyone to ride.
